Job Requirements & Role Overview

We are looking for software engineers who thrive on complex problems and relish the challenge of operating a complex and mission critical system under extreme loads. Our system responds to millions of service requests per minute. We do security software for high availability systems. Do you think you are up to the challenge? The successful candidate is expected to contribute to all parts of the software development and deployment lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing and operations. Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of industry experience.
• Solid experience in C, C++ , Java or C# (expert in at least one).
• Solid expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented design and concepts.
• Solid UNIX or Linux experience.
• Good understanding of networking concepts.
• Experience with scaling and performance of large systems.
• Great understanding of database theory and solid experience in at least one relational DBMS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with building and supporting live high-volume production systems
• Messaging (JMS etc.) - XML and Web Service concepts.
• An experience in or knowledge of Information Security domain - SSL, Authentication / Authorization etc.
• Experience in Ruby / Rails is an advantage.
• Experience of having worked in Agile teams.
• Experience with scaling and performance of large systems
