Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
Experience: 3 – 5 years
Location: Maharashtra – Mumbai
Description: The Senior Software Engineer develops, configures software systems to meet market and/or client requirements either end-to-end from analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance (including testing), to delivery and maintenance of the software product or system or for a specific phase of the lifecycle. They apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes and tools to support a client, project or entity. The SSE needs to be conversant with the latest technologies in the Java stream and will contribute either individually or as a team with other peers usually reporting to a project lead.
• Participates in all aspects of the product development life cycle from design to delivery
• Works closely with the module/team leads to help deliver innovative, world-class software solutions
• Develops software systems as per specifications
• Prepares technical documentation
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment focused on delivery
• Well organized, good communication and reporting skills
• Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented
Any Graduates, Candidates with BE/MCA in computer science are preferred / Certified Java Programmer
Required:
• Very good Core Java development skills
• Well versed with practical OOPs concepts and demonstrates workable knowledge of the same
• Experience on writing basic SQL queries and good understanding of relational databases
• Strong in object-oriented design concepts
• Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities
• Experience in Java web presentation tier software development (JSP, Servlet, Html, CSS)/JSF/GWT/Spring MVC or any other front end development technology
• Good understanding of Java and JEE application architecture
• Knowledge of automated unit testing frameworks like JUnit/TestNG and Mock Objects
• Experience on ANT/IVY/Maven
• Experience working with XML
• Expertise in client side development frameworks such as HTML5, CSS, JSON, Jquery and Object Oriented JavaScript
• Knowledge of Apache Tomcat is a must
• Experience on java persistence using JDBC or any other persistence framework like Hibernate
• Experience of following SDLC processes

• Experience on Java IO, Swing, Threads etc.
• Experience working with JAXP (SAX & DOM)
• Experience working with different JEE technologies like EJB, WebServices, JMS, JDBC, Servlets, JMX etc.

• Knowledge of JS development frameworks like NodeJS, AngularJS, Backbone.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js etc.

• Experience with Code Reviews

• Experience in Search Application Development using technology like implementing Full-Text Search, hit ranking, stop word list, proximity search, fuzzy AND for ranking, result highlighting etc.
• Experience building search applications with any of Search Engines like Lucene, Solr, ElasticSearch, Exalead or Google
Desired:
• Developing Web-based Help using DocBook XML
• Internationalization expert for optimizing/implementing Stemming or Lemmatization
