In this IT Architecture Analyst role, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, performing options analysis, ensuring quality/alignment of Designs, and you will demonstrate and apply knowledge of enterprise architecture and standards. You will also be responsible for the development, communication and implementation of the organization's technology architecture and the components required to support it and the integration of corporate and technical architectures and applications.
Primary responsibilities:
- You will assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
- You will be involved in solving moderately complex problems and/or conduct moderately complex analysis
- You will provide explanation and information to others on difficult issues
- You will coach, provide feedback and guide others
- You will maintain knowledge of current domains and strategic roadmaps
- You will identify/quantify scope and impact of business changes on systems
- You will incorporate software and system architecture into conceptual designs
- You will support applicable modeling efforts (e.g., data modeling, process modeling, hardware modeling, performance modeling)
- You will provide oversight of conceptual designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture governance (e.g., principles, policies, standards, future-state reference architectures)
- You will maintain awareness of current technology assets, and the applicability and capability of each
- You will be responsible for maintaining awareness of current business and industry issues/trends and incorporate into enterprise architecture designs as appropriate
Job Expectations:
-Demonstrated ability to execute, design and implement Data model for complex taxonomies, metadata frameworks, and templates for content management systems
-Strong conceptual, logical and physical data modeling experience
-Demonstrated experience using web analytics data to inform design decisions and quantitative DA methodologies
-Ability to define appropriate data lineage as per the given business scenario
-Entity Relationship Diagrams and data modeling tools such as Erwin
-Experience working with high volume transactional databases and dealing with data security both in transit and at rest
-Deliver an overall data management plan that will define, document and present master data and metadata
-Create data dictionaries and conceptual, logical and physical data models
-Define, develop and deliver consistent information and data standards, methodologies, guidelines, best practice and approved modeling techniques around data quality, data governance and data security
-Ensure compliance with data privacy, data security and other key standards critical to the business
Common Job Responsibilities (for all architectural positions)
-Develop architectural approach to meet key business objectives
-Develop architectural diagrams to illustrate architectural complexities and interactions
-Work with business owners, analysts, solution engineers, development teams and infrastructure services to communicate application and data architectures
-Ensure project successfully implements the designed solution following architectural tenets
-Conduct vendor analysis and proof-of-concepts for new technologies/solutions
-Help assess the planning for retirement of products and migration plans for the functional evolution of the system infrastructure
-Strong problem solver with ability to evaluate a challenge and understand solution patterns

- B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/M. Sc with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Strong architectural experience in building large scale enterprise applications
- Knowledge of Java development environment
- Definition and development of framework architecture
- Strategies for supporting schema evolution
- Near real-time processing and continuous data integration
- Experience with build lifecycle using Maven / Gradle
- Experience with UML notation, patterns, automated testing and SOA
- Knowledge on Hadoop is must. Knowledge on Hadoop 2 is preferred
- Strong understating of Hadoop Architecture and Distributed Processing is Mandatory
- Hands-on experience with Map Reduce Programs, PIG and HIVE will be an added advantage
- Exposure to any of the NO SQL DB like HBASE will be preferred
- Architect solutions for key business initiatives ensuring alignment with future state analytics architecture vision
- Work closely with the project teams as outlined in the SDLC engagement model to provide guidance in implementing solutions at various stages of projects
- Engage constructively with project teams to support project objectives through the application of sound architectural principles
- Develop and validate that the proposed solution architecture supports the stated & implied business requirements of the project
- Should be able to participate in Technology POCs and contribute on evaluation and induction of new technologies in the organization
