Job Description: Software Engineers conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement layout tools and design rule checkers, electronic data processing systems software. Determines computer user needs, advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements, designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgement and formal software process.

Qualifications: 
The ideal candidate must possess either a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field with the ability to learn new programming languages quickly and also have experience in some of the following programming/technical areas:

-> 1 year of programming experience, preferably in PHP. Experience in C#, C++, and/or and Python is also highly desirable.
-> Experience in working on transactional web applications using client side technologies like HTML5, Javascript, jQuery, Angular/Knockout
-> Nice to have MSSQL Database Design and Programming. Familiarity with MySQL is a plus.
-> Strong familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems as well as network technologies from a programmer's perspective.
-> Experience with Agile methodology would be a plus.

In addition the above technical skills, the ideal candidate should have strong communication, team working, and English speaking skills. This would include collaborating with peer development teams at other global locations to complete common projects.
