We Offer...
The Insight Risk Engine is core credit risk calculation engine for calculating counterparty credit risk forCredit Suisse counterparties. The Insight team is looking for a developer with strong C++ skills, and database (Sybase) skills to build new calculation models for the risk system. The suitable candidate must have a background in Investment Banking. The development team is based in London, Poland, India & Singapore.
Under the guidance of a Development Manager, work directly with allocated Project Managers, Business Analysts and external IT and business teams to implement change requests and new features
Write server-side code to implement business logic
Write and amend stored procedures in the Sybase/SQL Server databases
Utilize standards, architectures, and processes to ensure thatcode and development practices conform to company guidelines and industry best practices
Participate inaspects of the project lifecycle, following stringent rules and procedures for testing and promoting code in compliance with company change control processes
Provide third level support for the existing systemsrequired
You Offer...
Excellent organizational, problem solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
C++ developer with 3-7 years of experience
Minimum of 2 years of DB experience (Sybase preferred)
Experience with Standard template library
Knowledge and understanding of current best practices in C++ development
Demonstrable experience of good OO design and programming
Experience withphases of the systems development lifecycle, understanding of agile methods
Mentoring experience, especially with developers in different locations
Understanding of standard change control policies and procedures and ideally experience working in an IT environment with change control procedures
Have strong accounting and analytical skills and ensure that BAU tasks are completed in time.
Responsible for end-to-end accounting and reporting /producing management accounts for various entities at regular intervals and statutory acconts in compliance with local GAAP.
Responssible for reconciliation and adhering to standards on regular basis.
Communicate with operations team, product control team and other internal / external parties.
Assist with ad-hoc projects to improve processes within the FA line.
Should have good communication skills and be a team player
